What is a dream after all?

There was a time when every dream was believed to contain some meaning, mystery or message, and people who could interpret dreams were highly respected. In the second century of Christ, an Italian scholar named Artemidorus wrote a book in this context. The name of the book was Oti-Rokritaka - meaning principles of interpretation of dreams. In those days its copies were made by copying. Back in the fifteenth century, when the press was invented, it was printed and remained popular. After this, many more dream books were published, in which every level of dreams were explained alphabetically.

In ancient times, it was believed that while sleeping, the soul leaves the body and goes on a journey and whatever it sees there, it returns to the body and calls it a dream. In those days it was considered bad to wake up a person who was fast asleep because it is possible to wake up early. The wandering soul cannot immediately return to the body and it dies.

Psychologists analyze physical or mental situations on the basis of dreams. For example, dreams such as strangulation or being burdened by a burden indicate that type of disease due to lung problems. Pens were placed in the hands of two sleeping men, one dreamed of playing hockey and the other of playing mudgar. Similarly three sleeping men dreamed at the same time of cotton being caressed on their palms, one holding a cat's tail in his hand and the other stroking his girl's hair. The third saw the massage being done. A thirsty man wanders in search of water bodies in his dream and when he has the urge to defecate, he searches for a place to go to the toilet. Due to increasing the heat in the semen, the phenomenon of sex addiction and dream defects happens to many. These are exaggerated symbolic forms of dreams related to physical condition. Like children, the unconscious mind is also very imaginative. At the slightest signal, he fashions a sesame palm and makes it stand.

Psychologist Fried has collected 1900 dreams and written a big critical book on their basis - 'The Interpretation of Dreams'. He has concluded that suppressed desires emerge as dreams. Along with civilization, man's wishes-aspirations, lusts and cravings have also increased. They become rebellious when they are unsatisfied and create their own separate world of dreams and pretend to fulfill them. Due to the lack of desires, nature becomes satisfied and there is peace in the conscience or there should be so much facility that every desire can be satisfied. If both the things are not done, mental knots are formed in an unsatisfied state of mind, and they become the cause of disturbing dreams and causing psychosis.

Dreams usually have this much basis that they move in the direction according to human tendency and nature. By looking at the level of dreams, it can be inferred that which thoughts are dominating a person's mind in the form of aspiration or hatred. What does he want and what does he fear? Dreams usually fly and roll on this track,

Sometimes dreams also come true. People with pure conscience have been seen getting information about invisible facts early in the morning through dream signs, but this happens rarely.

The meaning

of the dream: While discussing the dream in the Yoga sutra, it has been said that when a person voluntarily or naturally enters from memory to forgetfulness from consciousness to unconsciousness, then the mixed process of consciousness and unconsciousness i.e. goes into a semi-conscious state. This is called a dream state. In this state, the scenes that a person sees in sleep according to his physical and mental tendencies are called dreams. Pictures related to Agni and Prakash, Vata-dominated people with Pitta-dominated nature, Sky movement and Kapha-dominated people with water-reservoirs are visible.

According to America's world-renowned dream expert Prof. Calvin Hall, the scenes seen under the hypotheses that arise during sleep are called dreams. His ideologies completely match with Indian philosophy. He has described the dream as a kind of mental process. It is often seen that in the state of sleep the mental tendencies of a man do not become completely lifeless. The chain of mental instincts that is visible in the waking state is definitely destroyed. In such a situation, many types of imaginations and visions emerge in the inner mind, they are called dreams. In dreams, there is a plurality of visual parts as compared to speaking and listening. That's why in common parlance it is called dreaming.

Why do you see dreams? Physics does not have the answer to this. To search for their primary reasons is the subject of spiritual science. The human brain has been compared to such a unique computer which is fully capable of keeping billions of gross and subtle memories safe. Whatever we see, hear, read or experience cannot leave its imprint on our memory. The same continues to be expressed directly or symbolically through dreams.

Russia's Oskourokhodova, who became blind, deaf and dumb at the age of five, despite her disabilities, has shown proficiency in the art of writing. He has written a book called "My Perception and Conception itself the world" in which the importance of dreams has been highlighted. According to his opinion, even without seeing with the eyes, the events are felt in the dream. Explaining this fact, scientists have said that even if the blind do not see the trend of drawing in their dreams, they are completely successful in understanding their signals through sounds and smells. Dreams appear according to man and nature.

Maharishi Ved vyas has clarified in Brahma sutra that dreams are symbols of auspicious and inauspicious events that will happen in the future. It depends on the will power and prudence of the person to avoid the inauspicious and take advantage of the auspicious. The latest discoveries of dream science have proved that in dream state the subconscious mind remains more active, following the conscience and also sensitive. Dreams in their symbolic language sometimes give us advice and somewhere appropriate guidance. With the proper analysis of dreams, the treatment system for the sorrowful knots and frustrations of the human mind can also be set up. It is also possible to solve complex to complex problems. This is the basic premise of dream therapy.

Give the right brain a chance to think as well and wakeup our 95% brain.

The structure of the human brain is roughly the same for all. Then why does it happen that some geniuses, artists, scientists, brilliant writers, inventors who are colloquially called "genius" come out of the general public? Answering this, Betty Edwards writes in her book "drawing on the right side of brain" that "the right hemisphere of the brain is active in such persons. In fact, the complete brain is formed only by the coordination of the right and left hemispheres, But the development of insightful, inquisitive investigative intelligence is more in those whose right brain is comparatively more developed.

This story is very strange and exciting. Why and how the creator created this game is beyond comprehension. He handed over the entire responsibility of operating the human body to the brain. In fact, the condition of the brain in the body is the same as that of the generator that supplies electricity to the machines in a big factory. Not only does he get the inspiration to move the body, he also gets the necessary strength from there. Manufactured from about 10 billion neuron cells, weighing 1.25 to 1.5 kg, this organ like a brown liquid has the capacity of several thousand times more than the capacity of a supercomputer. It packs its central processing unit and also expresses and executes it in a few microseconds. Electrical signals keep running from here to there at a speed of 52000 meters per second in the continuously active brain and lay the foundation of incoming signals, decisions to be implemented and messages to be sent. For an organ that generates its own energy, it is undoubtedly a matter of surprise to keep this process going on continuously without any disturbance.

"Are you thinking right?" An article by Stanley Engelbart appeared in the July 1988 issue of Reader's Digest magazine titled In this thought-provoking article, Dr. Engelbart has written an important topic related to the brain, describing the unequaled role of the right brain, that most of us do not recognize the sticky potential within us, that is why we remain deprived of those important achievements. , Whose abundance has been found in talented superhumans. In fact, it is not even necessary for humans to know in general that how is the structure of the brain? Whose centers are sitting here hidden? But this information is beneficial for everyone that how skillfully this unique organ should be used so that the talent flourishes even more.

The learned author is of the opinion that we generally consider the right rose as the center of artistry, emotions and the talent of the hemisphere, it is known to all that the left hemisphere is of the right half of the body. But in reality it is not so in day-to-day activities. Every thing that we try to remember, where it was kept or a particular person that we had ever seen, and is being remembered, at that time the right hemisphere is used more and the left hemisphere is used less. This "shift to right" process through the corpus callosum occurs at over 50 watts per hour in a thinking individual over 16 hours from a state of wakefulness.Nobel laureate Dr. Roger Sperry of the California Institute of Technology and his colleagues analyzed several epilepsy patients before and after surgery and found that the sequence of electrical sparks coming out of the brain when the brain's dual activity is coordinated or divided. turns. Split brain syndrome develops in patients whose meeting point of the two hemispheres has been severed. Not only did double personality develop in such patients, but due to lack of proper adjustment of their important personalities, despite being talented, they were not in a position to make good use of it. After all these studies, there has been a radical change in the thinking related to neurosurgery and beneficial results of constructive surgery have started coming.

Generally, not only in our country, children who work with the left hand, but also in western countries, have been forced to work with the right hand. One belief is firmly seated in the minds of all of us that every activity whether it is eating, writing or any other aspect of daily activities, should be done with the right hand only. In fact, those who want to do everything with their left hand, whether it is a cricket bat, a writing pen or a tennis racket, must be encouraged. In this case, the right brain is the executive and main organ. Whenever such a child is interrupted, he should not use the left, but the right hand. A confused situation is created in both the hemispheres. "Shift to left" is a painful process - for the brain and such children are not able to develop their talents fully, live a life of double mindedness and become victims of frustrations, glands, gradually neglecting the right brain " Minor Hemisphere", such a hypothesis has been made by Dr. Judy Heyems, a brain researcher from Connecticut.

Albert Einstein used to say that it is in our hands to make our brain proficient in action skills. He used to say that "the three-dimensional shape of what is to be done, the future outline should first be tried to be made in the mind." This skill is innate to man, it is accomplished in the right cerebral hemisphere only. If pre-planning of any work, its "if or but" and "prose and cons" is done first, if an image of thoughts is made in the right brain, then the work remains completed. He openly says that he could make himself such a wonderful talent through such a process. Author Kotler says in his book "the act of creation" that the thoughts which are troubling the mind, which are not in harmony with each other, should be given some time and should be forgotten for a few moments. They go to the right hemisphere, they come to the fore in a resolved form on re-thinking, on re-thinking. This process can be done while lying down, while walking or even in the state of meditation.

Psychologists believe that the right way of thinking can be taught, that is, the skill of developing the right hemisphere. Eastern psychology also says that talent is the cherry of man. Due to its neglected condition, we are not able to develop our personality. But if effort is made, the right brain, the root center of Pratibhamedha, can be trained.

By thinking of figures in meditation, by connecting them with idealistic thinking, the mind becomes concentrated, then man is not wandering in the gross, but in the subtle world. Gradually the inner eye starts opening. If this practice is done regularly for some time, then there is no reason why the dormant read 93% brain cannot be brought into awakening? Talent promotion is possible with the right thinking style, it should be well understood

should. then
